Cynthia Bonner

Cynthia Bonner's journey into the spa industry ignited in the 1970s during her travels to Europe, where she explored the secrets of human longevity in various spas. Intrigued by the transformative impact of body pampering on both appearance and spirit, she immersed herself in techniques such as full-body massage, water therapy, facials, and more.

After obtaining certification as a property management specialist in commercial real estate, Cynthia's passion for health-related beauty treatments persisted. She honed her skills, sharing them first with family and friends, gradually building a customer base. Recognizing the commercial potential, she transformed her hobby into La Belle Peau in 1989, a haven in College Park, Georgia, where one could escape the chaos. Armed with formal training in beauty therapy and aesthetics from Europe, England, and America, Ms. Bonner unveiled La Belle Peau, meaning "beautiful skin" in French, to Atlanta in 1989.

A Marsh Draughn Business Schools accounting graduate, she is deeply involved in professional organizations like the Atlanta Business League and the National Association of Female Executives. Cynthia's accolades include recognition in Oxford's Who's Who, The Elite Registry of Extraordinary Professionals, and The World's Who's Who of Women. Her expertise has been featured in publications such as Essence, Heart & Soul, and Atlanta Magazine's "Best of Atlanta." Currently affiliated with organizations like the International Council of Reflexologists and the American Institutes of Esthetics, Cynthia Bonner stands as a pioneer in bringing the wonders of beauty therapy to Atlanta.
